Iran prepares suicide boats

Ghadir class midget submarineThe Commander of US naval forces in the Gulf region, Vice Admiral Mark Fox, has said that Iran now has boats that could be used in suicide attacks.

According to Reuters he said “They have increased the number of submarines … they increased the number of fast attack craft, Some of the small boats have been outfitted with a large warhead that could be used as a suicide explosive device. The Iranians have a large mine inventory.”

This comes as tensions are running high over the EU plan to completely embargo Iranian oil from its countries by July this year.
