Hydroid Launches New AUV: The REMUS 100-S

REMUS 100-SHydroid, Inc., a subsidiary of Kongsberg Maritime and the leading manufacturer of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), introduced today its new AUV, the REMUS 100-S.

The 100-S is an evolution of the highly successful, man portable REMUS 100 system configured specifically for hydrographic and offshore surveys.

"Hydroid is pleased to launch the next generation in AUV technology," said Christopher von Alt, President and co-founder of Hydroid.

"The REMUS 100-S showcases many brand new features developed at Hydroid or our partner companies and demonstrates the modular versatility of REMUS AUVs in adapting to different specialties."
