Iran to unveil new maritime patrol aircraft soon

Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad VahidiIran said it would unveil new maritime patrol aircraft soon, taking another step toward national modern defense technology.

"Construction of new maritime patrol aircraft by Iranian Defense Ministry is to be accomplished soon and we hope we could unveil them in due time," said Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi.

He said the unveiling ceremony may coincide with "ten-day dawn ceremony" -- anniversary of Islamic Revolution Victory on February 1-11.
