Second spy plane delivered for deployment


A second U.S.-made advanced surveillance aircraft has been delivered to South Korea‘s Air Force, the state procurement agency said Tuesday.

The Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) said the Air Force will soon deploy its second E-737 by Boeing.

Based on Boeing’s 737-700, the airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft earned the moniker “Peace Eye” after a naming contest in 2008.
