In the near future, Rosvertol will start delivering to Azerbaijan Mi-35M helicopters. The first helicopter is prepared to be sent to Azerbaijan at the airfield of Rostov-on-Don, APA reports.
Alltogether 24 helicopters will be sent in accordance with the agreement signed in September 2010 between the company Rosoboronexport and the relevant agencies of Azerbaijan in Baku.
Note that the helicopter Mi-35 is the modernized version of the Mi-24, designed to destroy armored vehicles, provide fire support for ground forces units, evacuate the wounded people and freight in the cabin and on external sling.
