Submarine delay due to budget cuts 'puts Britain's security at risk'

Hidden GuardiansBritain's security could be put at risk by a shortage of cutting-edge attack submarines, the Ministry of Defence has admitted.

Budget cuts will mean the Royal Navy has to cope with having fewer of the latest ‘hunter-killer’ subs.

Britain’s spending watchdog, the National Audit Office, reveals the MoD’s concerns in a report published today.
