IAEA renews concerns over nuclear weapons

IAEAWhile calling on Iran to come clean on its nuclear program, the IAEA said it also had concerns about nuclear activity in Syria and North Korea.

Rose Gottemoeller, U.S. assistant secretary of state for arms control, said Wednesday that Washington believes Iran has a right to nuclear power "but only when it is in full and transparent compliance with its international nuclear obligations."

Yukiya Amano, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, said Iran wasn't providing the cooperation needed to ensure its nuclear program was peaceful.
