Navy Personnel Helping Drug Dealers With Their Narco-Submarines

Narco submarineWho better than to build and maintain the clandestine submarines used by drug runners than – of course- submariners from Columbia’s navy?

Eighteen members of an organization that builds submarines for drug traffickers, including five former and current Colombian Navy sailors, were arrested last week, according to the Columbian newspaper El Espectador.

Four retired members of the navy were arrested as well as one current officer. They are accused of providing expertise to the drug dealers.
