Navy to mark 2,000th Tomahawk launch in Norfolk

Tactical ''Tomahawk'' Block IV cruise missileA Tomahawk cruise missile milestone will be marked at Naval Station Norfolk this week.

A ceremony commemorating the 2,000th Tomahawk launch is scheduled Friday aboard the guided missile destroyer Barry.

The Navy says the Barry launched the milestone missile against an air defense target in Libya on March 16. Crewmembers will be recognized for their role in the launch.
