The MiG-35 fighter plane turned down by India will be used by the Russian Armed Forces, Rosoboronexport Director-General Anatoly Isaikin said.The Russian aircraft bid for the USD 10 billion Indian tender for 126 fighter aircraft but was not shortlisted.
Isaikin refused to comment on possible reasons for the tender committee's decision but recalled that "the organisers of the tender set forth strict requirements", Itar-Tass reported.
