US ABMs in Europe - moving to the point of no return

Patriot PAC-3The United States welcomes cooperation with Russia but will sign no agreements which would limit its missile defense options, Under Secretary of State Ellen Tauscher said.

She made it clear that Moscow’s appeal to sign a juridically binding agreement that the anti-missile system in Europe is not targeted against Russia has been left unheard.

The US high ranking diplomat took part in conference on the anti-missile defense issues in London, sponsored by the Royal College of Defense Studies.
