It was the last flight for a 34-year-old EA-6B Prowler, so Major George Ramsey put it through a couple of tight orbits over Cherry Point.The wings were straight vertical as the old bird zoomed around blasting eardrums one last time over the air base.
The young pilot was plenty familiar with the skies over the Marine Corps air station, but if that old plane could talk, it would say it knew those skies better.
