Navy's drone to perform mouse-click carrier landings

X-47BThe Navy wants its new tailless, triangular drone to be controlled with the click of a mouse, along with the 3.4 million lines of software code.

The maneuvers of the X-47B experimental killer drone, the first unmanned aircraft intended to fly off an aircraft carrier, will be completely controlled by a mouse, reports Spencer Ackerman in Wired’s Danger Room.

One click and the engines will turn on, another will allow it to taxi, more clicks will enable it to take off the carrier, fly and return home.
