Navantia proposes to build Brazilian naval ships

Leading Spanish shipbuilder Navantia has proposed to build 11 naval vessels for the Brazilian Navy under its PROSUPER project.

The shipbuilder made a presentation before the Brazilian Navy in this regard on April 11 at Rio de Janeiro.

“Navantia’s proposal to the Brazilian Navy is based on two major strengths: proven ships requested for the three classes (frigates, OPVs and AOR), and extensive experience in technology transfer in countries such as Australia, India and Norway,” the company said.
