More on the F-22's absence over Libya

F-22 RaptorWhen hostilities broke out in Libya, some thought the F-22 Raptor might see action. The radar-evading fighter jet flies out of Langley AFB in Hampton, among other bases.

Not only has the F-22 been absent in the skies over Libya, it seems that just about every other aircraft as been used there.

Could the F-22 have been sidelined by politics? That is one theory put forth in the latest installment of Time magazine's Battleland blog.
