President Barack Obama on Saturday made a pitch for U.S. fighter planes in his bilateral meeting with Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, who is considering ordering new aircraft for the country's military.Rousseff raised the issue, according to Dan Restrepo, senior director for Western Hemisphere Affairs.
"President Obama underscored that the F-18 is the best plane on offer," Restrepo said. "The technology transfer package is the equivalent...to the packages that are offered to partners and allies around the world."
