IAI offers systems for Embraer's KC-390 programme

KC-390Israel Aerospace Industries has offered its systems for possible integration with Embraer's developmental KC-390 tanker/transport.

IAI will not elaborate on which specific equipment it is proposing, but it is understood that its offer includes cockpit and aircraft self-protection systems.

The development builds on a pact signed by the companies in 2009, under which they pledged to increase co-operation through EAE - a Brazilian company owned jointly by IAI and local corporation Synergy.
