French navy gets 200th MU-90 torpedo

MU90 TorpedoFrance's Defense Procurement Agency has received the 200th MU-90 EuroTorp torpedo for use by the country's navy.

EuroTorp, a multinational consortium, hailed the delivery as another key milestone in its contract to deliver hundreds of the lightweight torpedo to French and Italian naval services.

The MU-90 is a fire-and-forget anti-submarine weapon that can be deployed in deep water as well as shallow water.
