Pakistan's ardent desire to acquire armed drones like "Predators'', which can let loose missiles with deadly precision, will remain a mere pipedream for the foreseeable future. The US has ruled out supply of any strategic armed drones to Pakistan.With the US literally opening the floodgates for supply of all kinds of weaponry to Pakistan in the name of global war on terror, ranging from F-16 fighters to a wide array of missiles, Islamabad has long been clamouring for armed drones like Predators and Reapers to be added to the already quite long list of military goodies.
This gained some currency in recent days with Predator-manufacturer General Atomics Aeronautical Systems announcing it had received a nod from the US state department to sell the drones to countries other than the US and its close allies.

I saw this news only in Indian Media. I searched the other sources, but none of the US and Pak media reported on this. I wonder how did Indian Media get this news? Or this is just a false news report in order to hear the reactions from Pak and US?

The US government has offered Pakistan two surveillance systems - the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) ScanEagle and UAV Shadow, for improvement of its reconnaissance capacity, US Under Secretary of Defence Michele Flournoy said on Friday.
