Two of the Royal Navy’s smallest warships are now based on the Clyde.HMS Dasher and HMS Pursuer have just returned from a seven-year shift of Force Protection and Security Patrols around the southern coast of Cyprus. Tey are P2000 Archer Class vessels which are normally used for training.
But two were sent to Cyprus to help with the Fleet’s role in the Mediterranean and, with revolving crews, spent a whole seven years there.
