For the first time ever, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) will hold an air show next April to showcase its refurbished and newly-acquired aircraft.Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Oluseyi Petinrin, said here that during the show, which will also involve static exhibition by NAF suppliers and vendors, Nigeria's President Umaru Yar'Adua would commission the new platforms procured by the NAF.
Some of the aircraft expected to be commissioned by President Yar'Adua are the F-7NI and FT-7NI Chinese multi-role combat and trainer aircraft, the new August helicopters and the Maritime Patrol Aircraft.
