Pakistan assumes CTF 150 command for third time

Pakistan assumes CTF 150 commandPakistan Navy's Rear Admiral Mohammad Zakaullah Monda assumed the command of the Combined Task Force (CTF) 150 from the French Navy's Rear Admiral Alain Hinden at a ceremony in Manama.

Pakistan Navy's participation is in line with Pakistan’s decision to fight terrorism in all its manifestations whereby it is totally committed to play its due role in maintaining stability and a secure environment in the North Arabian Sea for un-interrupted flow of vital energy supplies to the world while safeguarding maritime interests of Pakistan.

Rear Admiral Zakaullah while assuming command said ‘in accordance with the policy of collaborative maritime security, Pakistan Navy, despite resource constraints, remains committed to playing its role to realise the shared goal of regional stability and security.’
