India to step up monitoring Chinese missiles in Tibet

China has deployed in Delingha (Tibetan: Terlenkha) Municipality of Haxi (Tibetan: Tsonub) Prefecture in Qinghai Province medium-range ballistic missiles whose target could only be India, according to The Times of India online Jul 18.

The report said China had also built several launch pads for nuclear-tipped ballistic missiles in the same region.

The medium-range ballistic missiles can hit targets that are almost 3,000 kilometres away. The entire northern India and parts of central India can be hit from there.
