Growlers Prepare Aboard Stennis to Replace Prowlers

While the USS John C. Stennis practices off Southern California for a January deployment to Iraq, it's helping to prepare for another deployment.

New EA-18G Growlers are using the Bremerton-based carrier's deck to get ready to replace EA-6B Prowlers next spring as the Navy's electronic attack aircraft.

Air Test and Evaluation Squadron 9 is testing the plane as part of Operation Evaluation.
