Iran tests new missile

Iran Monday said it has successfully test fired a new missile, state-run news agency IRNA reported.

The missile is capable of targeting an enemy vessel within a range of 300 km, the agency quoted Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) commander Brigadier General Mohammad-Ali Ja’fari as saying.

Ja’fari claimed the technology used to build the missile has not been tried by any other country.
