Russia has renewed an earlier offer for the direct sale of S-400 missiles to Turkey to outdo its main rival the US, the military says. The Russian offer was initially made in mid-June in Moscow when Turkish military officials visited Russia.
The Turkish officials said that Moscow's offer would be considered by the Under-Secretariat for the Defense Industry (SSM) -- the civilian military procurement agency -- and not by them.
