New Zealad Navy looking for replacement for tanker and resupply ship HMNZS Endeavour

The navy has begun to look for a replacement for its 20-year-old tanker and replenishment ship HMNZS Endeavour.

The ship was built by Hyundai in South Korea for $27 million and commissioned 20 years ago in 1988.

However, the navy said it was nearing the end of its expected life of 25 years and it wanted a more versatile replacement.
