Poland finally has decided to let the United States install a missile defense system on its territory to guard Western countries against a rocket launched from Iran or some other "rogue" terror state.
The defense system is modest to a fault -- 10 interceptor missiles in Poland and a radar unit in the Czech Republic. And it's a sensible way to deal with a threat that may materialize sooner than we think.
But the way the Russian Bear is overreacting to the idea, you'd think we were back in 1983, when the Cold War was hot and we two superpowers had megatons of ICBMs pointed at each other.
