General Dynamics adds Raytheon as partner in frigate bid

General Dynamics Canada has added another team member to try and win the contract to modernize the defence systems on the navy’s Halifax-class frigates.

The contract is part of the navy’s $1.1-billion modernization of its fleet of 12 frigates.

General Dynamics said Monday it has added Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, an industry leader in equipment and integration expertise, to its team.
