While all eyes are on the country's eastern seaboard due to the brouhaha over the five-nation Malabar war games in Bay of Bengal, a huge warship is quietly making its way to Mumbai on the western coast.
Though this 16,900-tonne warship sailed under the United States flag till recently, it's not likely to raise the hackles of the Left, which is training all its guns on the Malabar wargames at the moment.
The warship, after all, now flies the tricolour. Well, we are talking about the huge amphibious transport warship INS Jalashwa, known as USS Trenton till January, which will finally arrive in India on Thursday after an extensive refurbishment and a long journey across the world.
