The new Nimrod MRA4, which is due to come into service by 2010, visited its future home at RAF Kinloss late last month.The aircraft is one of three prototypes which have been developed by BAE Systems.
It was taking part in an exercise alongside aircraft from France, Norway, Italy, the USA and the UK, who were working with a variety of NATO naval vessels.
Nimrod number "PA3/ZJ517", which is the third of three development aircraft, attracted a lot of interest from servicemen on the base.
