Russia to test new cruise missile

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.usRussia will test-fly on Tuesday cruise missiles Iskander, First Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov said at a meeting of government members with President Vladimir Putin on Monday.

The missiles will be tested at Kapustin Yar Range in the southern part of the Astrakhan region, he said.

“The talk is about the second stage of making a modernized version of Iskander, a tactical missile for the Ground Troops," Ivanov said.
