Russia's state-run arms exporter has denied Russian news agency reports it had begun delivering Tor-M1 anti-aircraft missiles to Iran.
"I can affirm with 100 percent certainty that nothing of the kind has happened," Rosoboronexport's Nikolai Dimidyuk told the RIA Novosti at an international arms show in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Russia's Interfax news agency Friday quoted a source in Russia's military as saying: "The deliveries of Tor-M1 to Iran have begun. The first systems have been delivered to Iran," and adding the Iranian soldiers who will operate the systems were trained in Russia.
