Hamas seeking Iranian missiles

Fajr-5 missileThe Hamas-led Palestinian Authority is looking to acquire Iranian-built medium-range Fajr-4 or Fajr-5 missiles in order to put nearly all Israel within striking distance, and thus disrupt the current balance of power, according to military sources interviewed by Middle East Newsline.

The PA is using the ongoing IDF incursion into Gaza as a backdrop for appeals to both Iran and its Lebanese proxy, Hizb'allah, to start smuggling the missiles into Gaza via Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, said one source.
