The show of military goods and machinery for Russia's Army, IDELF 2006, will be held on soil of All-Russia's Exhibition Center, Moscow. Combat vehicles will perform in the weapons polygons.
It was planned at first to hold the exhibition at the territory of Gromov Institute of Flight Testing, Zhukovsky-town, the Moscow Region, with strategic equipment and pavilions arranged just in the landing field. But All-Russia's Exhibition Center was chosen in the end.
Visitors will see the military hardware in operation in the polygons of the Moscow Region. One of them is based on facilities of Geodesy Research Institute in Krasnoarmeisk.
With the Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation as an organizer, IDELF 2006 is slated for August 2 to August 6. It will cover an area of more than 50,000 square meters and is expected to lure over a million of visitors.
It is yet unclear whether the aircraft will perform in time of the exhibition – the web-site of All-Russia's Exhibition Center doesn't mention IDELF 2006 in the calendar of official events.
