Russia ensures supplies of missiles for Chinese fighter jets without Ukraine — official

R-73 (AA-11 Archer), R-60 (AA-8 Aphid), and middle range missiles R-27T (AA-10 Alamo-B) and R-27R (AA-10 Alamo-A)Russia fully ensures supplies of air launched weapons for Chinese fighters based on Russia-made Sukhoi jets without Ukraine, director-general of Tactical Missiles Corporation Boris Obnosov told TASS on Tuesday.

“The list of air launched weapons used at Chinese Sukhoi fighters is supplied by the Tactical Missiles Corporation without Ukraine,” he said.

“Earlier, Ukraine supplied the R-27 air-to-air missiles. Enterprises of the Tactical Missiles Corporation manufactured 80% of components. Now we are fully meeting the needs of China,” Obnosov said.
