The advanced front line aviation complex PAK FA (the T-50) is completing its compulsory test phases successfully. The production fifth generation fighter is expected to enter service with the military from 2017.
Meanwhile however front line units are already being equipped with an almost exact counterpart to this aircraft - the Su-35S multi-role fighter.
