Iran starts massive "Velayat-4" Air defense drills
This morning Iran has started the massive "Velayat-4" Air defense drills, IRNA reported.
The drills are taking place in 8 provinces of Iran - - North Khorasan, Khorasan Razavi, South Khorasan, Sistan & Baluchestan, Kerman, Hormozgan, Yazd and Fars.
Last week, the Commander of Khatam Al-Anbiya base Farzad Esmaili said that the drills would be supervised by the Khatam Al-Anbiya base, while Iranian army, IRGC and Basij forces would jointly participate.
The Shahin was based off the HAWK medium-range SAM which was delivered to the Shah when Iran still maintained relations with the west. http://goo.gl/WhbDy
