Crews of long-range ASW aircraft Tu-142 of the Northern Fleet practiced training tasks in the Barents Sea

Tu-142 Bear-FToday the crews of long-range ASW aircraft Tu-142 of the Northern Fleet practiced training tasks on detection and tracking submarines in the Barents Sea, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.

The flights were carried out within the scheduled combat training inspection of the Troops and Forces of the Northern Fleet for the summer training period.

The pilots performed a number of missions connected with search for submarine in the assigned district. The training included usage of acoustic buoys and receiving information from them.
