LIMA 2015: Boeing comes out fighting with AH-6i

AH-6i Little BirdBoeing is squaring up to challengers in the light attack helicopter market by pointing to the key differentiators of the AH-6i that the company believes give it an advantage over competitors such as MD Helicopters.

Speaking at LIMA 2015, Dave Brostrom, Boeing’s regional director attack and vertical helicopter lift business development, said that there was strong interest in the region for the AH-6i, not least from Malaysia, which has requested pricing for six, 12 and 24 aircraft.

He added that there had also been strong interest from the Philippines and Bangladesh.
